La primera impresión… bueno, ya sabes, la emoción de llegar, el sol pegando… y ahí está el Comfort Inn. No voy a mentir, al principio, me dio un poco… "meh". No es el Ritz, ¿sabes? Pero, oye, la promesa de ¡Puerto Vallarta te espera! resonaba en mi cabeza y, vamos a darle una oportunidad.
Accesibilidad: Pa' que no se sientan excluidos (¡buena idea!)
¡Ah, sí! Empecemos por lo bueno: Accessibility. Dice que es Wheelchair accessible. Genial, ¿no? Porque, ya sabes, el mundo no es solo para los atléticos y las modelos de Instagram. Y encima, el elevator, ¡fundamental! No quiero acabar como Quasimodo subiendo a mi habitación. Y para los que no puedan moverse, bueno… ¡Facilities for disabled guests! Me gusta que se preocupen por todos. ¡Aplausos!

La verdad, ¡me emociona la idea de comer rico y explorar!
Ahora, los bares… ¡Bar! ¡Poolside bar! ¡Vamos a ver si tienen margaritas decentes! ¡Porque una buena margarita es sagrada! Y después de un día de estar en la playa o en la Swimming pool [outdoor] un traguito en el Poolside bar…. ¡la gloria! Tengo mis esperanzas puestas en el Happy hour. ¡Espero que no me decepcionen!

- Massage: ¡Ah, el masaje! ¡Debería ser obligatorio! Ya me veo ahí… diciendo "Más fuerte… ¡sí, ahí!" (¡perdón, me emociono!)

Cleanliness and safety: Okey, esto es crucial. Después de todo lo que hemos pasado, necesito saber que están tomando en serio la higiene.

Puerto Vallarta Chaos: Comfort Inn & Beyond – A Mostly True Story
Day 1: Arrival & Immediate Regret (Maybe)
- 14:00 – Arrival at Comfort Inn Puerto Vallarta Golfside & Marina: The website promised "golf views." Okay, maybe. "Marina access"? Well, it's close. Let's just say the lobby smells vaguely of chlorine and air conditioning… very comforting. The check-in was smooth enough, a harried woman who clearly wanted to be anywhere else in the world (relatable). I've got my room!
- 14:30 – Room Reconnaissance & Initial Panic: The room is… functional. Two beds? (Solo traveler, go figure) And the "ocean view" is… well, you can see the top of a palm tree and a sliver of some water. Let's call it "optimistic." My first real panic is the absence of an iron. How will I look presentable when I meet all the hot locals? (kidding… mostly).
- 15:00 – Mandatory Poolside Meltdown (or Attempted Relaxing): The pool area? Surprisingly decent! Except for the screaming kids. They're like tiny territorial banshees. My initial attempt at a relaxed sun-bathing session got crushed by the need to make them quiet, so I'll have to find somewhere else. I'm not sure I hate the screaming, though. - 18:00 – Dinner - El Colegial Restaurant: Walk into the restaurant. Seated with a smile, I was so ready to enjoy the night. The food was actually really good! Authentic Mexican cuisine, not too expensive, and a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place!
- 20:00 – Sunset Stroll (and the First Taste of Tequila): Found the "marina" finally. It's pretty, very picturesque. The sunset was gorgeous. Took a deep breath and began to enjoy the moment and everything around me.
- 22:00 – The Bed & the Future: Back in my room, the sheets are clean, the AC is trying, and I'm exhausted but buzzing. The real test: will I wake up feeling refreshed or regretting the last three hours? Stay tuned.
Day 2: Beach Bust & Culinary Confessions

- 17:00 – Wandering & Wondering: Decided to walk around, maybe do some shopping. I thought about going back to my hotel, but I thought, now I can't. My head is spinning, but I keep going.
- 19:00 – Dinner & Another Tequila Revelation: Found this tiny little restaurant off the beaten path. I don't even remember its name, honestly. That tequila… it's a liar. A delicious, smooth-tasting liar. I met some locals, we drank. We laughed. I tried speaking Spanish. My grammar was atrocious. They found it hilarious. (They were also very kind).
